Questions & Answers

What about spouses, family, and other guests?
Other guests are invited to view the Parade, visit the Veterans Day Fair, and to explore NYC's other cultural and historical offerings.

How much does it cost?
There is no fee for veterans groups and most civic groups to participate in the parade. Corporations or groups wishing to sponsor a float should contact us for more information or to make arrangements.

Where will my group be in the parade?
You will be placed in the appropriate Line of March (Veteran, Service/Civic, Military etc.) based on the information you provide in your Group Application Form. We will get back to you with the exact location and meeting place.

How do I arrange for travel and lodging?
We would be happy to refer out-of-town groups of over 20 members to one of our travel partners. Also, for veterans groups, we recommend that your members sign up for a Veterans Advantage membership, to take advantage of the special rates they provide for veterans on air, rail and bus travel, car rentals, and hotels (as well as a wide range of other benefits). To learn more, go to www.veteransadvantage.com.

How do I sign my group up?
Simply fill out the attached Group Application Form or call our office at 212-693-0157.
