The ceremony consists of: speeches by the Mayor, our Senators, military and other state and civic leaders. laying of memorial wreaths at Eternal Light Monument military salute by ceremonial honor guard This ceremony is the most formal of our Veterans Day events, and receives heavy media coverage each year. It is immediately followed by the Nations Parade and the Veterans Day Fair at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
